• Research of the aging (radiation, thermal, etc.) mechanisms of the insulating and construction polymer materials.
• Control over the performance conditions (temperature, radiation, and other influencing factors) of the NPP cables and electrical equipment.
• Diagnostics and control of the cable and electrical equipment condition.
• Documents in effect for managing the NPP cable resource characteristics, developed by RISI.
• Certification cable and electrical equipment tests in regards to radiation, thermal aging and exposure factors of the NPP design basis events.
• Issue of final statements and recommendations on the possibility and conditions of exploiting the electrical equipment and cables at a NPP.
• Development of the technical documentation determining the diagnostics carrying, condition control, and management of the NPP element resource characteristics.
• Development and implementation of the computerized systems for informational support of the technical servicing and maintenance and the NPP cable and electrical equipment lifetime management.
• Development and implementation of programs on managing cable and electrical equipment resource characteristics on every stage of the NPP lifetime.
